Well, if I am having a week off, feeling sad, and out of sorts...........I gotta scrap.
Sooooooooo. I have scrapped 2 layouts in 2 days. One paper one, one digital one:) I want to scrap more digital, but tommorrow we have NO power........whaaaaaaaaaa, so I might have to paper scrap, without a computer :O
Just wanting to let you what happened with my dad. I'm at my friends house at the moment, just taking a break. My dad had lewy's body disease, but died suddenly of pneumonia on Monday. We had a call at 3:50pm, but he was gone at 5:30pm, and we were still making arrangements for the children, etc. Funeral will be on Friday at 11am. Hoping to be home by Sunday.

Surprisingly enough, this wasnt a quick layout. But its nice to have my first layout done, for my USA trip album.
Ok, now that I have shared....I better get some shut eye, so that I can work again tommorrow!
Oh, and I have a new hair style! But the couple of photos I have, arent too flattering, so you will have to wait, till I rectify that!

I'm starting early this year. The last 2 years in a row, I have been away in November, teaching. It always sends me in a loop, and I dont seem to get ahead. This year, I have nearly finished 2 gifts......have bought for the kids, and one nephew, and teachers, and only have a couple more people to buy for.......so YAY!
Anyways, I wanted to share what I have made, as I know the 2 people that are getting these gifts, dont read my blog.......HEHE
I have created 2 albums, as "brag book" kind of albums, but included quotes, sayings, etc. Thanks to Nicole for her help on this:) Love ya sweet!!

Today my husband took our kids, and my camera to the Lake! He maxed out my 1gig card (still cant believe he did that). The kids had a blast......and by the look of the photos, I think my hubby might have had fun too. He certainly brought back some scrapable photos. Including some of this cute fellow. An Echidna!! My all time favourite Australian mammal (an egg laying one at that)
He was just wandering along the foreshore. Not too worried about who was watching him. That in itself is a bit unusual. Echidnas are usually "scaredy cats", using their claws to dig a hole and bury themselves in the ground. But this guy was friendly. Steve got as close as a foot away. Some stunning photos. This was one of my favs. If I get a chance, I will share some more of him tommorrow.
