I read an awesome post by the wonderful Cheryl Manz about Christian Persecution and it made me think about how free we are in this country. We are so blessed to have the freedom to worship our God, without fearing death.
But on the other hand, living in a free country, we still fear persecution. Not death, like in other countries, but we do fear what others think of us. Like standing up for what we believe in our work place. Like raising our arms in praise when we have brought an unsaved friend to church. Like yelling out your Love for Jesus, in a Church that also loves that same Jesus.
So, why do we fear what others think so much? Why do we give in to peer pressure, and not stand up for the things we truly believe?
I'm not just talking to those of you that read my blog, but im talking to myself also. There are areas in my Christian Life in which I am weak..........But on this day, I take a stand. I am standing for Truth, For what is right in this world, for the fact that I live in a free country and for Jesus, who saved me and set me free.
Jesus is my Saviour!

Edited to say: Yes Rusty Pickle did get its name from a Jar of pickles. If you didnt read the story, you can check it out "The Story".
And I did make the other question a bit harder, but there were a few clues if you googled my name.......so most people had the year right. But I wanted to see who would be persistant....
Persistance pays off, as the answer to how long I have been scrapping is April 2000.....SO BRIANNA is our winner! Thanks all for playing. There will be one more pack to give away in a couple of days!

I got an idea in my head a couple of days ago, and just had to try to get it out of my head and done. I am pretty happy with the result. Rusty Pickle Mini Album ( I love the size of these, they are so much fun) and Rusty Pickle Girly Girl rub-ons. The rest is paint, and cardboard from a box insert from work.

to Next weekend. We are off to Cape Conran for 4 whole days. Just to kick back and relax on the beach. I am soooooooo needing this!
And Im sure that I will have LOTS of photos to share when I get back. The kids love it. Its a safe swimming place, with lots of rock pools full of a crabs, and star fish, and more fun stuff.
