What a weekend!

Well we went from a full day of fun and laughs on Saturday, to a very lazy Sunday.  (thats the way it should be right??)
Saturday consisted of T-ball, fundraiser, Bairnsdale show with friends, and then a BBQ back here.
Sunday consisted of not getting out of my PJ's till midday, curling up on the couch with Jaz.  Watching a couple of movies, and walking to the nursery with Patrick.

Here is a couple of pics of Jaz. This is how she sleeps most of the time.  Kind of cute really.  Loves a lap to sleep on. And she thought it was fun to hide in the "in and out" trays on my deskSleeping_jaz.

Saying Goodbye

This last week, I have had to say goodbye to 2 friends.  Both of them helped get me where I am now, in different ways.
Firstly, Denis Hersey.  A wonderful photographer, mentor and friend.  Sympathies to Cheryl and families for your loss.  When I worked for the Newspaper, Denis and I would bump into each other at different events.  Check out one of my fav pics of his Here.  Denis was in the RAAF, and I think was the RAAF photographer for a number of years.  He was a community man, and I will miss "bumping" into him!

This morning I was told of the passing of Rick Hill. A business man, who had a vision to start scrapbooking in Bairnsdale.  We got talking, and I helped start scrapbooking in his store.  Rick was involved in the CFA and the Rotary.  He was a wonderful person.  And will be sorely missed!

The odd thing is, next week is the anniversary, 1st year, that my dad has been gone.  Cant believe it.  Its been an odd year.  Full of dreams fulfilled that I wish he was here for, and saddness at all the losses this past year.
Signing off!

Will post some photos and happier news tommorrow:)
